Danforth Yachting is situated at Cape Maclear bordering on the Lake Malawi National Park. Surrounded by islands, this is one of the most beautiful locations on this magnificent lake. Mufasa is a fully equipped and crewed ocean going catamaran, which sleeps eight guests in comfort and style. The layout includes two bathrooms, four double cabins, 2 crew berths, saloon, galley, cockpit under shade bimini and a dive platform.
Mufusa is the only ocean-going, live aboard yacht on Lake Malawi.
Be as active or as relaxed as you choose. Patient and encouraging water sports instructors give expert tuition for waterskiing, wakeboarding, snorkelling and sailing. We are child friendly and offer something for everyone.

The Lodge has four spacious, en-suite family rooms, tastefully decorated in cool, nautical colours and all opening onto a large patio. All rooms have spectacular views of the lake and look out over Thumbi West Island.
The garden has shady lawns, leading to a clean beach and crystal clear water. The beach is just a stones throw away, and moored 50 metres away is the luxury yacht “Mufasa”.
PADI scuba diving centre, water sports and activities all on site and easily accessible to our resident guests.
Danforth Yachting operates on a "full board" basis which includes three delicious meals each day, plus teas, coffees, cakes and snacks. Our local and international chefs take pride in presenting a tempting selection of dishes for our buffet table, using the freshest of ingredients. Dining is al-fresco in a family setting. Children are most welcome. Early meals and child friendly menus can be arranged. Dietary needs are catered to.
